Accessibility
We build the software, so we don’t get to treat this as someone else’s problem. Here is what this site actually does.
Motion
Every reveal, marquee and parallax effect is motion sugar on top of content that is already there. Turn on “reduce motion” in your operating system and the animation stops entirely — nothing fades in, nothing scrolls on its own, and no text is hidden waiting for a trigger. The same is true with JavaScript disabled.
Keyboard
You can reach every link, button, field and carousel with the keyboard alone. There is a skip link to the main content as the first focusable element, focus is visible everywhere (a red outline, never removed), and the menu overlay traps nothing — Escape closes it and returns focus to the button that opened it.
Screen readers
Headings run in order, the decorative scrolling text is hidden from assistive technology and replaced with a plain list, form errors are announced, and the expertise rows are real buttons with proper expanded state rather than clickable divs.
Contrast and targets
Body text and labels meet WCAG AA against the near-black background. Every interactive element is at least 44 by 44 pixels, on every screen size.
Found something
We’d rather know. Email hello@5roleslab.com with what broke and what you were using, and we’ll fix it.
